Hello there!

Just joined yesterday!
I'm also getting married on the 10th July 2010! We're getting married in Edinburgh...
We got engaged at New Year....

Yeah I have to say - I love the city..
It was the first place we went away together! We hadn't been going out very long when we went there, but that didn't stop me from speaking before thinking!! I was wandering around the city in awe and started going on about what a great place it would be to get married in.... Oops! Totally forgot who I was with!!!! Thankfully, he stuck with me and didn't run a mile! Now we really are getting married in Edinburgh!!!

Lol. I love the city. I was considering it at one point but my gran can't really travel..so we went with a traditional irish wedding. Where about are you getting married? Our first date was in Dublin Zoo so at some stage I was considering Edinburgh Zoo (good deals there too!) Major problem would have been keeping the list down though!!

It is difficult trying to figure out whether it's best to travel or stay home or whatever!
But it's working out well - not too far to travel... My dad hates travelling, so at least it's just one short flight!!
My other half is from Kent in the South East of England.. so at least both families will be travelling!!
Can't wait now!

i think its brill!! Have you picked your venue?? Everything is cheaper in Scotland! Are the men wearing kilts? You have plenty of excuses to flying over and back. you can always get suits ordered over there or check out suits you

I'm so happy we're getting married over there! It's such a fab city...
Have no idea what to do about suits yet - we'll have to see...
H2B keeps changing his minds about the kilts... So i think they probably won't go for it in the end!
Some things really are so much cheaper over there - it's amazing!
What about you - where are you getting married?
