Weddings abroad, presents for mothers???

Hi all, I am getting married in Sicily next September, and usually the mother of brides and groom, get a presentation of flowers, now since we will all be on our hols, I dont want to give flowers that will be just left in the hotel room. Any suggestions???

my friend was the same and she got the two mammies a watch...they seemed to love them!!!!

What did you guys end up doing for this? We still have to sort presents and dont want to go down the flowers route either.

a nice photframe would be nice. wouldnt take up alot of room either.

Thats what I got for mine scdp as both mothers arent really flower ppl. I got like three fold photo frames in Hallmark shop. In the centre is a place for a photo of bride and grrom with "My sons/daughter wedding" at the bottom. On the left side is "Grooms family" and you can put a 2 pics 1 of them and 1 of best men in there and the other side is "Brides family" and 1 pic of my side and the bridesmaids. It was only €15
