hi everyone im new to this but very excited to be starting somewhere. we are looking to wed aug 2013(hopefully) and wondering where the hell i start? we are thinking of lanzarote and i have emailed a few wedding planners with requests of prices etc. I was hoping to use the iberostar and have a band dj, the works. We really dont know how much we need to be saving and i would appreciate any help on the matter. Im a total newbie so ANY information/tips will be greatly appreciate.

hi welcome to the site!!! im getting married at home so i cant help you with any info about abroad but have a look at the wedding checklist in this site to help you see what needs to be done!! im sure some of the other missies will be able to help i no there is a few getting married abroad!!! congrats on your engagement and have fun planning it x

I love lanzarote! I'm afraid I can't help but my cousin getting married In Italy and one thing she did that was very helpful was set up a weddIng website so she could give info to all guests!

Welcome to the site, We're hoping to get married in Lanzarote in Sept 2012 so like yourself Ive been gathering info etc. I have found Peta with the wedding planners Lanzarote Weddings really helpful! I spoke to a few other wedding planners but clicked with Peta and found all the information she gave was fab! How has your planning been going since you started? Have you decided on a planner?

Im also 2013, seems sooo far away!
I hear Ann Leneghan in Lanzarote is good. My bother is getting married there next year and so far he is fairly happy with her. The Iberostar is really nice, i went with bro an FSIL to look at a few hotels, in the end they went with the Hisperia so they could have the reception at the beach bar. The wedding planner im sure will recommend bands and Dj's, the brother is having Skin and Hyde.
