where do i even start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby traceymcl » Sun Jan 15, 2012 10:36 pm

can anyone help me, i am totally lost, i got engaged about 3 years ago but the arrival of our beautiful little girl put a halt to any wedding plans, now that my little women will be turning 1 we've decided to start planning again. we are hoping to get married around dec 2012/jan2013. i suppose booking a venue would be a good start :? so if anyone could reccomend anywhere i would be very grateful. oh i'm based in dublin, working on a budget and have about 80-100 guests. thank :)

I haven't a clue either, I'm just engaged and I'm spending a lot of time looking things up... A LOT of time. I think maybe the best place to start is your budget and guestlist because they affect your venue choices. But that's a whole other issue, I'm feeling totally lost looking for venues!

Yeah I'm going to do that at some point too! I've been looking into the ceremonies for the last few days and I'm looking at humanist ones at the moment, but it's not going to change my venue choice I don't think. But not going to make it any easier either!!!

We're at the same stage, started by coming up with a budget and guestlist. We're trying to pick a venue now; there's so much to choose from so we're narrowing it down by researching websites and requesting brochures from places that appeal to us. We will probably pick 3 or 4 favourites to visit.

Hey traceymcl :bluewave

Don't worry it seems at the beginning that there is sooo much to do but once you get your venue sorted and the church thats the main things done!! I was exactly the same at the start but once venue was booked took a lot of weight off everything else will fall into place :D You'l get loads of advice from the ladies on here so not to worry!!
