I'm thinking about going to the UK for my hen, but was wondering if anyone has been for a hen? Or where are good places to go? Any suggestions would be great!

Went to a hen in Edinburgh a few years ago,and was so impressed with it.The nightlife is brilliant and there's loads to do during the day too.On our 2nd night there we went on a ghost walk at midnight and was great craic after having a few drinks.There's something for everone there,shopping,sightseeing and of course great bars!!

Oh that sounds great!! Was it expensive? Would love that but don't want to ask everyone to pay too much money. I had been wondering about Edinburgh or even Liverpool, cos I heard there's a great nightlife there too. but the ghost walk sounds like fun, even if I'd be the biggest chicken!! LOL

When we went on the hen it cost 200 euro each and that was staying in Jurys,but i enjoyed it that much that myself and himself went back for a weekend and got our flights for a tenner with ryanair and stayed in a premier inn at 30 sterling a night,so if you do a bit of research you could get it cheap enough!!

I have been to Edinburgh a few years back for Hen and it was brilliant weekend. Then for my own hen we went to Bristol and i had the best time ever. Great craic in the pubs, lots of shopping for anyone who wanted to and we did some bollywood dance classes to. We booked flights about 6 months in advance and got a good deal!
