What a weekend!!
As some of you know I live in England not far from London so decided to have my hen party in London so that my friends from here who are coming to the wedding in Limerick wouldn't have the expense of another weekend away.
So I met my 3 sisters, aunt and mum in London about 1pm on Fri afternon and we made our way to the fancy hotel that my sis booked! When we arrived some of my other friends were also there so we went off to the pub for lunch and a jug of Pimms! After a few drinks went back to the hotel to get ready. Sex and the City theme so I wore a short pink one shoulder dress with a huge flower on the sholder- very Carrie! Everyone arrived to my room about 5.30 and then the antics begun. I got a 'suspicious letter' containing a picture of my fiance tied up and gagged in a warehouse- and some instructions of what I had to do to get him back!! Included having to get dressed up in veil, feather boa etc. and an address for a bar to get a cosmopolitan!! We left for the bar where I got another letter and more clues! Hilarious. When all tasks were completed we went to the chinese restauran/karaoke where all my local friends were already waiting. 26 of us in total. My sister had the room all set up with balloons and goody bags with pics of me on from a baby right up to getting engaged- very sweet. then the eating/drinking/singing began!. Girls if any of you weren't sure about where to go for a hen do go to this karaoke place Imperial China in Soho- u get a room all to yourselves 2 wireless mics and you choose all the songs- I didn't stop singing from the minute I got in! Everyone was up dancing and had a great laugh. Went back to the hotel for a few more drinks and didn't feel at all drunk just super exctied still!
Next morning we all got up late and went for a fry up at the pub. My h2bs mum and aunt met us there. We went to Oxford st for a bit of shopping then sat outside a pub in the glorious sunshine for the rest of the afternoon. That night was a quieter one went to covent garden for a lovely meal and a few drinks. Left London about lunch time on sunday with lots of tears from us all- won't see my mam until I'm back a few days before wedding now!!
Was just a perfect hen do couldn't have asked for better! Sad now its over though was looking forward to it for so long wish I could do it all over again.

Can't believe how quick its going!! My diary for June and July is so full and then it'll be august!! Time to start panicking yet!?
