We had my hen night in Cork. My BMs organised my hen in the Maldron Hotel, short walk to the city centre. They did a great deal of one night dinner bed and breakfast for €55pps I think it was. It was for a Saturday night in late March. We went to a couple of different pubs but they had booked the VIP area in Havana Browns and it was great. We got a free drink with the entry as well which was very nice and also a separate cloakroom and small bar area and separate smoking area. We did the pampering thing here in Kilkenny on the Friday so I'm afraid I have no rec's for that in Cork but I will just say I loooooooooved Cork and we will most deffo be going back!! :D

It's hard to say both have good night life.

If it was me I would be thinking along your lines of keeping the cost down for eveyone and the distance they have to travel as short as possible - imagine the hangover the following day and trying to face a journey of 2+ hours from Dublin :vomit

:iagree

Feel sick even thinking of the bus ride home from Dub! Cork is a great city to go out in. SoHo bar and grill is great. Fab food and and its a late bar so if you didn't want to go to a club it's perfect.

I'm probably going to Cork for my hen aswell. It's between there and Galway. I really don't want to travel too far and expense is a big factor.

If there isn't too many of ye going have a look at the supervalu getaway breaks. They have a package for 1 night b+b, dinner and a €100 spa voucher ( between 2) for €99 each.

Can I suggest you join CityDeals and Living Social and sign up for Cork? You will get daily emails for deals in that area?
