I'm really fed up, I sent out invites months ago, then text people maybe 1-2 weeks ago to see who was coming so I could confirm numbers and half of them haven't come back to me. Then I'm getting told that they'll let me know . . it's next wkd? If I don't cancel the rooms I don't need I'll have to pay for them, don't people realise that. Next thing i see one of the girls who's supposed to be coming trying to round up her college buddies for a night out next sat!!!

Just feel like cancelling the whole thing. Why bother trying to make an effort when no one can be arsed

Ah try not let it upset you. I was the same at mine people saying they d come and then in the end didn't. But one thing I learned is that the people that are there with you are the ones that you really want with you. You will have the time of your life. Just forget about the people that are not coming and focus on the ones that will be there. And remember it's all about you for your hen! Hope you have a ball xoxo

I was bridesmaids for a friend recently and I done all the organising for the hen!! Needless to say I wont be doing it again Its the same with all hens.

Trying to rally round the troops is the easy bit at the start, then the closer it gets the more people cant commit and what not. I was in the same boat as yourself with booking the hotel rooms hun and in the end I told them if they didnt confirm numbers by a certain date, that they could look after themselves for the hotel etc!! Feck them, florence09 is so right. The people that mean the most to you will be there hell, rain or shine Everyone else is just an after thought. Big hugs

with previous posters don't cancel you will still have a good time and the people that really matter won't let you down Its the same with every hens so don't think its just yours hun Cancel the rooms if people dont answer as at end of the day don't be out of pocket for other people! Honestly some women would annoy ya!! Surely everyone knows if they are going to go on the hen or not, its a simple im sorry cant make it or yeah def il be there.. like planning a wedding isnt stressful enough without worrying about the hen, def agree with the girls, if you dont get a proper yes/no by a certain date well tough look, i would be thinking its my hen - im going to enjoy it if 3 people turn up or if 20 people turn up.. now my rant over!!!!!
