My wedding is 3rd September and having the hen in early July. Similar to you. We're getting married abroad so I want to give people a reasonable break between the two to try and help with costs. Half my friends will be travelling from England for the hen so I'm conscious that they'll be spending a lot to get to both my hen and the wedding.

dont know what date im having it but it will prob be late july or early aug.....best mans g/f isnt 18 yet but will be at the start of july so i said i'll wait until she is 18 so at least we wont have problems with boncers, when we go to the pubs. sure god love her she's all excited bout it cas it the frist hen she will be at,so i dont want any problems with her getting in anywhere. im not getting married until 16th of sept so i think that loads of time, and im staying local...what do ye think??

Aww that is so cute I think thought sounds perfect. My best friend got married last sept (18th) and we when on the hen on the 14th of Aug. and Im going to another hen on the 30th of this month and she gets married on 5th of march so thats about the same!! I like the idea of local thinking of doing the same!!

thanks for that mrsm2b. wel we're staying local so everyone can go to one part of it if they want. im doing poll dancing lesson and then a meal and a few pubs and club. so i think there is something there for everyone...hopefully! if not i cant do much more so they can sugar off!

Well thats it, that is my reason for doing the local thing. I am doing dinner and kareoke (sp!?!) and then a nightclub so like that if ppl still have issues about it they can go jump!!! Think it chould be fun

Ah im not too far off the spelling!!! YEh it should be I picked it cos a few of my friends all have small kids so will be goinbg to the dinner and the singing (when ever we have a few drinks the sing star has to come out ) I really want them to have a good time as they dont get to have a night away from the kids we usually just go there!

he doesnt know they usually go to galway but he wants to do something different and have an activity for during the day. does your H2B have anything like that planned?? your hen sounds like so much fun! the place where we are haveing the karaoke is where we will be having the dinner its a package!!! Cant wait now...just need to decide on a time

my h2b is going to amsterdam.....if he get the flights....his looking out for taxes only and then booking them and they will stay in a hostel....but all depends on flights

no we'll be having it different weekends...im the youngest in my family and all above me have children, and h2b side there is a few with children so we said we'll go on different weekends so at least there wont be a cost of babysiting on top of the night out.


cdor thats nice his still doing stuff with your brother, it will make him feel involved....even if he cant drink,drink,drink!

ah thats nice of you to think of others. im actually havin 2 nights now...my bm has told me that we are going away with a few friend her treat and that shes not taking no for an answer so i might go away the weekend that h2b has his dont know yet to be honest
