Just had the best weekend of my life! If anyone if thinking of throwing a joint st-en, go for it. It worked out brilliantly with the mixed group. H2B did have a proper dirty boys stag do, but was saying this morning that this one was better! Ended up with 16 in the end, on an activity weekend. It was expensive but brilliant. Friday we had 8 stay in our place, flying in from Ireland, Switzerland and Zambia, had a bbq and got quite drunk, gave the boys facials etc. Sat we all headed off early to the venue, met the others there, had a morning of horseriding and jousting lessons (all in medieval dress... H2B wearing a woman's velvet medieval dress), then a falconry session flying birds of prey. Amazing pub lunch, and then a sword fighting lesson. The group do stunts for movies so the swordfight was a fight from a movie, first practising with plastic swords before begin given real broadswords! Then we had a jousting tournament, it was great, several falls off the horses though!! Then an hour to shower and get back for the party; had a spit roasted pig, and amazing food, just couldn't eat enough! And all you could drink inclusive.. and we could drink! played lots of drinking games, lots of dancing... at about 1am they decided we should learn archery so we had drunken archery competitions, we decapitated the pig and had turns drinking shots that they poured in the eyes and you had to drink the shot out the snout (very unlikely I would have done this sober!!!). It was hysterical. Finished up about 4am, with much snogging of everyone involved (joys of having a mixed group) and next day had amazing large fry-up ready when we woke up, and headed off to Warwick Castle to watch medieval shows; jousting, sword fighting etc before everyone went back to airports and back home. Photos from the weekend are ridiculous.

If anyone is thinking of having a mixed group for a hen/stag/ joint sten I can't recommend enough to go away and do a joint party. Everyone mixed, and pretty much no-one would have known each other before the weekend. Also the fact that we were self-contained in party rooms instead of town with different pub crawls meant we stuck together as a group for the night.
