Missies, I'm not long home from the hen, thrown down on the couch in my pj's with the chinese on order so said I'd write my report now before I fall asleep and don't wake up till the morning :sleep

Saturday 05th May 2011
Woke up just before 7am, all excited and no way I could go back to sleep so I got up and had a cuppa and chilled for a bit before showering, doing my hair and finishing my packing (I do not know the meaning of travelling lightly - 1 night and I packed 12 pairs of knickers so that will tell you how bad I am :lol:

)! H2b got up and made me yummy sausages, beans and toast for my brekkie, and I started to get really nervous for some reason - my tummy was full of butterflies!! Got my stuff together and H2b drove me into town for my make-up appointment in Mac at 10.30am, turn out fab!! (loved it way more than my trial make-up!! And fell in love with my new lashes

) Did a quick run to change a jacket I had bought the week before to go with my dress as I only realised the night before there was a stain right at the front so had to run to awear to exchange it and h2b collected me again and we drove out to collect my mam, her friend and my brothers girlfriend and off we set to meet all the girls for 12noon.

Got there just after 12 and we were the first to arrive, and said I was aswell start as I meant to go on and had a lovely bottle of Bulmers which settled my tummy nicley :happyfriday

All the rest of the girls arrived soon after, 19 girls in total, 18 for the bus and one of my bm's was following us down later as she had an exam at 4pm. Had a another drink before the bus arrived at 1pm ish and off we set for Cork!! Stopped in Mallow (well come on I had to stop there :lol:

) for more drinks & some food for some of the girlies and off we sat again.

Bus driver didn't have a bulls notion how to get to the hotel (although he was regaling ravenrabbit about stories of when he used to work there :wtf

what did you do drive to work blindfolded?? If you worked there surely you know where it is??) But anyway ravenrabbit was like an aa roadwatch employee and saved the day and found the hotel :clapper

We arrived, checked in, I shared with ravenrabbit and we had a fab room 2 doubles and a single with loads of space. Dropped the bags and went back down to the bar, they had a big table reserved for us with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, so we had a few glasses and sat around chatting, lots of stories of h2b, some I had heard and some I hadn't so had a good laugh. Went back up then for a quick change at 6pm and back down for dinner at 6.45pm. When we got up I got a text from my other bm to say she had gotten down earlier than we thought and would be there for dinner :bounce

Delighted to have my 2 girlies there as we didn't think she'd make it till after dinner.

Came back down and the hotel had more champagne and canapes out for us, more champagne - who was I to say no? :lol:

Went in for dinner and my bm's had done such a good job, hen party banners, L Plate balloons, willy table confetti (entertained my mother no end :lol:

), the hotel had L plates and personalised our menu's so the place looked fab!!! I swear I have the best bm's ever!!! I kind of expected a sash and willy straws, maybe a flashing bopper BUT what they had done, the effort they went to just blew me away!!! They gave me memory box, with my pic and the date and on the lid and inside the nicest message and filled the box with everything - you name it it was in it - bunny ears, tail, sash, giant badge, willy straws, stickers with my pic and the date on it, retro sweeties, a flashing love heart wand (which I would be later seen directing traffic with - it was my new bestie :lol:

), a hen party survival packed which had loads in it including Lifeline - highly recommended - the only reason I was able to function today!! But they had made me a hard backed book - AMAZING full of pics from my childhood, family, friends, h2b, our daughter and gotten all the chicks to sign and put a message in it, it just blew me away!! I ended up crying - thankfully there was a man's thong in there too so I wiped away my tears with that :lol:

Really it just made my night!!

Had a lovely meal but it was running a lil late and we were due to have cocktails after the meal so we asked the hotel to keep them till the residents bar for us later (went down a treat then!!) and we ordered taxi's and set off. Went to the Soho bar first, had a few drinks there but it was way too packed and we ended up not getting anywhere we could all stand together so we moved on to the Bodega (sp??) - savage place, had such a good laugh! Didn't sit down once all night, danced my lil socks off, Dragonfly you'll be please to hear I got my piggy back ride!!! Just had so much fun it was great.

God knows what time we left there but we grabbed taxi's outside at the end of the night and headed back to the residents bar - such fun, we sang all night, we went through all the eurovision songs we could think of, I danced and sang my vanilla ice - ice ice baby routine, did the hokey kokey, met a stag staying the hotel and they joined us - manage to convince one to take off his pants and wear the thong :rofl

Had out cocktails and danced and sang for ages, everyone started to drop off at the stage but me and two of the girls stayed singing until the barman kicked us out at about 5.30am - we were raging cause we were still mad to keep going but :nope

he was sick of us :rofl

Went up to bed, trying my hardest not to wake ravenrabbit but she turned on the light to find me crawling on all fours around our room :lol:

This morning (fair play if your even still reading :lol:

)
Got up at about 9am - NO hangover (I may have been a little drunk as I was dancing into the bathroom mirror singing to myself), but No hangover thanks to ravenrabbit and her Lifeline tablets!! brekkie arrived to the room and we were very respectable and ate at the table!! Put on my make-up and cleaned myself up a bit and my bm had arranged for a girl to come to my room at 10am to do the Shellac nails for me which was lovely to get done, still in my pj's and just chatting to the girls, it was lovely and so are my nails now!! I'll keep the rest brief - the bus wasn't collecting us till 2pm so some went shopping but me, ravenrabbit and 4 of the other girls sat in the bar and had lunch and had a laugh going over the stories from the night before. Bus arrived at 2pm, back to Limerick for around 4pm where h2b and our lil girl collected me, brought me home and tucked me up on the couch and ordered me a chinese - loving them :lol:

GREAT night!!! Way better than I could have ever imagined!!! I have NO voice - NO joke I can't speak and haven't been able to all day so I'm on the lozenges and hoping to have it back for tomorrow :fingerscrossed
