Ok, so some of you (you know who you are ) are waiting on a hen report from yours truly so who am I to deny it So here goes!

Day 1 - Friday 25th March
So I was to be ready for 1pm and the girls came to collect me and we walked into town together - our house is only a 10 minute walk, if even. There was myself, my sis (MOH), two BMs (my best friend and my FSIL) and one of my closest friends. They brought me to lunch and we met my mother and favourite aunt in the restaurant. After lunch they said that my best friend had to run up to Mint, which is a really nice beauty salon here in Kilkenny, to get Dermalogica cream for her face. We all walked in together and I realised that they were bringing me for some treatments. They had booked me in for 40 minutes of the Dr Fish - you put yer feet into this kind of fish tank and all these mini little fish clean your feet and make them all brand new. I was totally freaking out, said I was gonna kill them, I have a thing about feet!! Of course they were all laughing!! So eventually I put my feet into the tank...it wasn't what I'd expected at all! And my feet were only deadly after it Then they had me booked in for a neck, back and shoulders massage. Lasted 45 minutes and it was exactly what I needed!! Then I got a manicure and had the beautician paint my nails this deadly red colour! My sister expected me to get a french manicure but I have a thing for red nails
Then we all walked back to my house where I picked up my stuff and said goodbye to h2b and my little Sammy and we went over to my sisters house. Had dinner and put on new pj's that she had laid out for me in the spare room, and a new white dressing gown! I said to her it was like being in a hotel Five star treatment! We spent the rest of the evening watching 13 Going On 30 - love the soundtrack! Nothing like some good 80's cheese music And downloading old songs from our youth and putting them on CDs for the bus ride to Cork the next day - her OH was there laughing at us jumping around her living room like a pair of eejits! Went to bed at about midnight and read for a while before ringing h2b to say goodnight. Slept like a baby

Day 2 - Saturday 26th March
Was awoken to the sound of my sisters dog barking - we wanted to get into the bed with me so I put him in under the covers and we snuggled back in together until the nerves set in. I was so worried that everyone wouldn't get on, or that something would go wrong! So eventually I got up and went downstairs. My sister had scrambled eggs, toast and tea made for me - nice one Picked at it and ate as much as I could and then my sis went for her shower so it was just me and her OH in the kitchen. Spent an hour chatting to him about everything under the sun but it really calmed me down - gotta love that guy! Had my shower and just as I got out of it I heard a few people begin to arrive. I quickly got dressed, threw on a little make up and went downstairs. My sister and best friend had made matching t-shirts for the whole gang which said: "Caution Pam's Hen Night In Progress" in black and amber of course just cause I'm a massive hurling supporter! Everyone loved them! We all piled onto the bus, it was a 52 seater and there was 18 of us on it. Decorations everywhere! Then my sister handed me a massive blown up willy! Everyone was like crazy cause I had specified no willys!!
The journey to Cork got underway and everyone was getting on great so I had nothing to be worried about! Champagne and West Coast Cooler Rose were being passed around and then they broke out the shots - Sour Apple and Sour Raspberry and Kola Kubes! Everyone had several, my mother included
Had an absolute ball on the bus - the music went down very well and the girls all just clicked! Then we reached the outskirts of Cork City and this car was behind us and started to beep the horn at us! Nothing unusual about that - we'd been getting trucks to honk their horns at us the whole way down just for the laugh! So we were all waving out at these two guys in the car and they were indicating they wanted one of us to flash so my friend Em grabbed my friend Ash's top and just flashed the top of her bra - we were in the hysterics cause one of the lads in the car flashed his chest back at us! Then the passenger stuck a big piece of paper to the windscreen with a phone number on it All 18 of us were in bits laughing and the car kinda pulled back a bit and we were wondering what was going on and then it drove really close and we looked down and the passenger had pulled down his trousers and was waving his willy at us like a helicopter I thought I was gonna get sick from laughing so hard! One of the girls just happened to be taking pics at the time and we realised later that she had gotten a pic of it! Of course she uploaded it to FB, mad yolk!!
Got to the hotel in one piece - the Maldron. It was lovely. Everyone got their rooms and my sister told everyone they could do what they wanted and that dinner was at 6 in the restaurant so everyone went to do their own thing. Then my sister said that part of the package was for me to get my hair done - was only delighted!!
Went back to the hotel after that and had a drink while getting ready. Was late going down to the meal though Everyone got on brilliantly at the meal - 4 of h2bs sisters were there and I was worried they wouldn't mesh with everyone but they did Then after the meal we all went to my sisters room where she handed out loads of hen stuff. Everyone got sashes saying Hen Night, except my BMs got ones with Bridesmaid on them and I got Bride to be in hot pink, all the others were in a lighter pink. She put a veil on me, an L plate, a pink whistle, a garter and a few other bits. Had a few drinks and played a few games then a mini bus came for us at 9pm and we headed to a cocktail bar - don't ask the name of it cause I can't remember! Had a cocktail then went to a kind of rock music bar - my kind of music It was packed!! Got loads of hugs and kisses off strangers wishing me well - I'll say this about Cork! It's a friendly spot - I'll definitely be going back!
Went on to Havana Browns where my sis had booked tables for us. Also got tokens for free drinks and a separate cloak room which was good cause I'd brought my new €300 coat with me and couldn't relax trying to mind it Spent the night dancing and being congratulated by strangers! It all passed so fast but everyone had a great time!! Some of the girls went back to the hotel before they music finished but most of us stayed there. Then everyone, except 4 of us, wanted food so they went off in search of food and the four of us got a taxi to the hotel. Went into the residents bar and ordered some drinks. It ended up being me, my best friend, her sister (also a vert close friend), another close friend (Em), FSIL who's also a BM, my mother and my aunt. We were having the craic with a stag from up the country and then I said to Em "Gimme a song!" and FSIL goes "Oh no, not drunken singing!" and I burst out laughing cause I realised she'd never heard Em sing before - Em sings professionally but since FSIL had only met her for the first time that morning she didn't know so I let her think Em was a terrible singer until Em started and FSIL's mouth dropped open! Was so funny!! Then FSIL was at Em all night to keep singing - we kept the stag entertained until 6am in the Residents bar and then said we were heading to bed. At this stage it was just me, my best friend and Em and we were all in different rooms so we said we'd use the toilets downstairs so as to make less noise on our poor sleeping room mates. We got a little lost and ended up in the disabled toilets where we came across a wheelchair - so of course we jumped into it and took turns pushing each other around the lobby! God, the stuff you do when yer drunk!
Eventually made it to bed at 7.15am and miracle of miracles I didn't wake my room mate so I was well proud of myself going asleep!

Day 3 - Sunday 27th March
Woke up fresh as a daisy (cause I was still a bit drunk!) at 10.30am. Jumped in the shower and threw on some clothes and went to brekkie with two of the girls. Everyone kinda went their own way - shopping etc until the bus came for us at 2.30. I got some lovely clothes for the HM in River Island
Bus back to Kilkenny was an awful lot quieter. I sat in the back seat with Em - the two of us only buzzing off each other. My bestie sat in the seat in front of me and everytime she tried to close her eyes to go asleep I'd shake her seat saying "the road is so bumpy!" I only drove the poor girl mad So a handful of us - myself, bestie, her sis, Em and one of the other girls spent the journey re-living the night before and just laughing about all the antics! The stories I heard about the night before that I missed at the time were hilarious: one of my FSIL's was dared to get a lad to sign her boobs, other FSIL (the BM) got down on one knee and proposed to another guy cause she was dared to, one of the girls got a piggy back to the door of Havanas. Oh God, funny funny funny girls!!
Then my bestie goes "Sure the day's not over yet!" and I was like "Eh, I'm going home, I'm shattered!" Do you think that happened?!!! NOPE! Dropped our bags in her OH's car and he dropped meself and her down to Left Bank (our fav pub in Kilkenny) at about 4.30pm-ish. We stayed there drinking until almost 10pm and he came and collected us and dropped me home. H2b was in hysterics laughing at me - I was obviously a little worse for wear at this stage, not a scrap of make up on and day after t-shirt my bestie made for everyone which read: Hungover Hens!
All in all it was a great weekend! The best thing about it was that everyone has now requested each other on FB and swapped phone numbers! I think some of them have even arranged to meet up over the week! I couldn't have asked for a better hen and once I get over my tiredness and feel more human I'll be back on top of getting everything done for the wedding!

Delighted it was such a good weekend hun, sounds like great craic!! I'm off to Cork on mine too - hope it turns out aswell as yours!!! If your anything like me now you won't recover till Wednesday Can't wait for the pics - especially the helicopter

dragonfly you only look bleeding GORGEOUS! your looking hot hot hot in those pics im surprised you didnt get another proposal....well I think we can safely say the flying helicopter could be interpreted as a propersition
