Only invite people you want there. If they are intimidating then you might not enjoy yourself as much!
I've invited my 3 fsil's and I'm worried about how I act infront of them with a few drinks. They are all older than my H2b, the youngest is 10 yrs older than me!
Only invite the people you feel you have to. Your h2b will prob be able to tell you who he thinks might expect an invite from his side.
Those activities sound great! My sister is organising mine and am not being told anything about it, I did ask snout a theme and I was told "sex and the city" which is so not me! So asked her to change it to lbd, as everyone had a black dress!

Hey, I agree, only go for people who you'll be comfortable around. It was my mums idea not to come so I didn't invite FMIL either. It's just gonna be me n my mates n sis in only 2 sleeps time

ONly have who you want there.. I didnt have my mother or mil at mine, but had a small family thing a few weeks before the wedding.. It was great because my sister (bm) sorted this out...
As for themes, I love the gangster/flapper girl theme.. it'll go great coming up2 new years too. The usuals are always good, old school theme etc... O what about fire brigade, you'd just need the hats!! Or the ultimate sexy hen costume below! how funny would a hen party actually dressed as hens be!!!

ye id say jus invite who u want there,u sed the sil is ten yeas older so she mitnt evn wana go,i asked my mam n she sed no n fmil sed no,i went to gran canaria with my mam n sisters as aour family hen,u cud have sumthin small like a meal r sumthin for the family one if u wanted.im having saints n sinners theme everyone wearin black n devil horns n il prob wear white n halo n wings
