When should I have my Hen???

Ok missies, I know some of you lovely ladies will help me out. Our wedding is in early Feb 2013. Don't know when to have my hen, as we all know January is terrible for most folks and prior to that theres Xmas and considering all my sisters and most my friends have kiddies that time of year is out too. When would you all advise I have my hen, I'm an October baby. Would it be silly having an October hen for Feb wedding.

No i think october is perfect u could even have fancy dress cause of it being around halloween !!!!
Lol that will mean it only around 6 months to ur hen (tats if u go for oct ) !!! It will fly !!!!!!

Have to think of a theme, thinking prob retro girls or 80's chicks. Has to be super girly Nd fun, though. I know, complete cliches but hey girls just wanna have fun! My local club will reserve areas for hens or stage, will prob just stay local.

Not silly at all hun - we're getting married March 2013 & totally understand where you're coming from - I figured that in January people are usually broke after x-mas, February such a short month & so close to the wedding - December well that's x-mas - so I'm going with 1st weekend in November!!I'm having a Father Ted Hen in Clare - so excited & looking forward to it!!love your 80's theme though - I am such an 80's baby too!!

I was born in 81, youngest off all the girls so i grew up watching them singing in their hair brushes and all that stuff so I've always loved the 80's music What better way to have the ultimate girly party with my big sis's than to have an 80's hen ( i thought). Pretty certain i'll go with it as a theme but will have to iron out the details If your having yours in November for a March wedding, than October it is for me, my reasons are the exact same as yours. Phew
