Hola Ladies!!

Hen is going to be in March 2012 and I live in Kilkenny so the plan is to not stray too far from home and get away for 1 maybe 2 nights.

Has anyone got suggestions? Looking at a budget friendly hen party, well cheap as poss for a couple of nights away. The FSIL has already bitched about not going too far as she'd not like to travel home with a hangover. Ahem hem. I also, begrudgingly agree with this so we're looking at Wex, Waterford, Carlow, Tipp, Kildare and Dublin at a stretch.

For activities Im thinking hens on a farm or murder mystery or burlesque with cocktail class being a last resort but no mucky activities (im afraid of quads (useless at driving!!) and would puss and bawl if hit by a paintball - mind you FSIL would be a great target!!)

Any ideas would be greatly valued!

Have been to hens in Wex and Waterford... both really good.. there are good deals out there.. neither of the weekends I went on were murder mystery or anything.. just the usual night out. Im sure there is plenty out there though.

Treacy's will be grand im not mad on enniscorthy im from new ross not far from it thats all there just aint much there (not that there is anything in New Ross either) but once u have a crowd of girls with ya, it doesn't matter where u are cos ul be having so much craic!!!!

Lol Im not far from Ross but found it right craic the few nites we went out. The girl in Treacys told me theres 26 pubs and 2 clubs in Enniscorthy so we should be ok for choices! and thats if we get as far as a pub crawl! i can see it deteriorating swiftly after the cocktail making!

Hiya my hens is in March and I see you live in Kilkenny so who better to ask. My bridesmaid doesnt want to go to Kilkenny I do as its not too far away and from what I know full of hens and stags. Anyway I was told which I dont truly believe that a lot of the pubs dont allow hens in is that true?? I very much doubt it but just want to check. I refuse to give in and travel further
