PMs from Suppliers posing as Brides / Grooms

Postby Claire » Wed Aug 26, 2009 11:18 am

Hi Ladies (and the occasional guy!),

It has come to my attention that some of you are receiving unsolicited advertising messages via Private Messages (PMs) from suppliers posing as brides & grooms.

:spam :spam :spam

This practice is strictly forbidden and will be dealt with appropriately. Can you please forward any such messages that you receive on to me?

:nobadtalk
NOTE TO SUPPLIERS POSING AS BRIDES AND GROOMS: Don't do it. You'll eventually be found out at huge risk to your business credibility. There are no shortcuts to creating goodwill for your business. It can take years to build up consumer confidence in your product or service but just seconds to completely lose it. Don't say you haven't been warned.

It's a double edged sword - while it's a pain it obviously proves you are becoming popular! Glad it's all shaping up and I hope to be able to devote more time to this very soon, family ill health means things are on hold at the moment, although I am still making the stationery, everything else has had to take a back seat. Hope you understand.

hi annie,

If you could 'copy & paste' the contents of the PM here for everyone to see. Then others can confirm whether they received the same message. If it's spam, I'll ban the sender from the forums.

thanks for letting me know,
