Civil wedding ...Booklet or not??

Again referring back to my total lack of wedding protocol!!
Does anyone know whether or not " its the done thing" to have wedding booklet at hotel civil ceremony?? :swot

I honestly dont know hun, I have never been to a civil ceremony so I am no help to you, I know some of the girls on here are doing it maybe its a personal decision

Hi Missies,

I think it's more a personal decision on this subject. There's no set "protocol" for a booklet at a Civil ceremony.

For any of my couples - I always say that just an "Order of Service" is the best way to go - give's guests something to have a squiz at when they arrive, they can refer to it during the ceremony (if they must..), it's a keepsake for them, and you can always put a little nice message on it; something like if you're honoring a deceased family/friend, a welcome/thank you note to everyone for coming.. etc..
Plus - it's a LOT easier than having to type up booklets!!!! :dizzy
