How much to pay the priest?

We're paying the church fee which is a few hundred euro, I'm wondering what is the norm to pay the priest on the day? thanks

i have asked quiet a few ppl this question and they all said around the 200 euro figure personally i think its a bit too much so im thinking of giving my priest (who is marrying us) 150 euro and il be have 2 other priest there aswell and they will be gettin 100 euro again i think its too much but appreantly its the "done" thing

150 to 200 euro is what I've head too. We don't really know the priest we are having so 150 euro is what we are going to give.

I think 200ish is the norm. Don't know what you do though with the situation of multiple priests

we're havin a priest thats a friend of the family do our i wonder will he still expect money

when my sister got married last year it was our second cousin who married her and we would know him fairly well she still had to give him money cause she said that he would expect it regardlessly i dont know how much she gave him. Sorry! but i would judge it on how well you know him and prehaps a cheaper alternative would be to buy him a gift some thing that looks good but inexpensive sounds awful but u have to pull back on some costs!

first ive heard of that id said sing dumb on it you shouldnt have to pay for using the church. ure giving the priest money, paying for your own music and flowers so id say dont mention to priesat cause he will probably charge you then!!!

A friend of mine had to pay €400 to use the church because it wasn't their parish church. How unchristian is that?!

OMG im not using my parish church didnt even think of that s**t priest didnt mention it either ....
