Cancun in August?

Hi girls...just wondering has anyone been to Cancun in August. We are planning on going to San Fran/ Vegas/ LA and Cancun but the travel agent has said that while it will be hot there is a chance there could be some showers, has anyone any advice on this??

My friend went to cancun last august on hm and the weather was fab

we went in oct 08. It was still warm then with morning showers and gorgeous thunder storms at night so I would say you'll be away in a hack in August!
