Honeymoon maldives?

Morning misses really hoping you can help me with my stress! Engaged a year and getting married on July
So far I have loved the planning , have found no decisions hard until now the honeymoon planning!! We are obviously spending so much money on the day itself and honeymoon I just don't want to make a mistake ! Various locations have been tossed about and we hav settled on Bali /Maldives / Mauritius . But I am still concerned over it being winter there even though it's still warm ? Would resorts be too quiet? Are there activities there ? As u can see I'm a ball of worries!! Would really appreciate any advice from missies to be or the lovely newlyweds on honeymoons in general and these locations !!
I'm used to flying with Ryan air and staying somewhere cheap and cheerful so spending this amount of money scares me!!!

Hi hi! aw my friends went to the Maldives and had an AMAZING time! although they went in October so dont what the weather is like in July. Is it not still quite warm even though it is their winter?! What about the Dominican Republic? Another friend went last septmber and was pure bliss. Lap of luxury! sorry cant be more helpful! We are just having a cheap honeymoon after the wedding and then a big US trip the following year. Can imagine how you are though! im sure the thoughts of spending that much on a honeymoon and it be the wrong place would be heartbreaking.

Thanks a mill for advice , we were looking at domican republic but we were told it was hurricane season!! I think we're gonna go with Maldives !! Fingers crossed!

oh god definately dont want to go there so!!! should be fine with Maldives even though it is winter. fingers crossed! you'll have an amazing time either way!
