Mexico - Secrets Maroma Beach

Mexico - Secrets Maroma Beach

Postby Bear82 » Fri Mar 04, 2011 12:34 pm

Hi Ladies :happywave

We've booked our honeymoon :cool Currently booked into a garden view suite in Secrets Maroma Beach in Mayan Riviera in Mexico. Can't wait! It gets absolutely amazing reviews, all inclusive luxury. Just wondering if anyone else is booked to go there? Also has anyone been there already? Is it worth upgrading to a swim out room or is the garden view room great too? I am so excited!!!!

Thanks ;)

I know MrsEnglish2be! It is costing way over budget but screw it, we only get married once. And this is probably the last time we'll be able to afford to do something so extravagant, before the kids start coming along

2 weeks from 29th August. We're getting married on the Thursday and staying in our venue two nights, so we'll have the weekend to prepare and then we're off!

When are you getting married? Have you booked your honeymoon?

When are you going mrs-in-d-making?
MrsEnglish2be, we had budgeted for around €3k for our honeymoon but it's going to cost almost €5k :o Really did not think we'd end up paying that much, but flip it, we're borrowing for the wedding anyway so might as well make the most of it! And at least we won't have to bring much spending money. We've always gone cheap and cheerful for our holidays in the past, so this is our one chance to go mad :)

Ouch indeed! But Tropical Sky, who we booked with, have loads of great deals for much cheaper than that. We started off going to Barbados and I think that was only €1.5pp.
