Miami & Florida Keys, any feedback?

Hi is anyone planning or been on honeymoon in Miami & the Florida keys? Any feedback?

We are thinking of going here but just want to make sure there's plenty to do as don't want to spend the whole time on the beach. Any tips/suggestions would be great! )ll

Haven't been as far south as the Keys in Florida but have heard theres a good bit ta do! Have been to Miami and wasn't mad on it to be honest. Couldn't believe there were certain beaches where they have like a "looks" code - if you don't look a certain way (muscley men/booby skinny women!) then you're not going on the beach! Nearly died!! Maybe come a bit further north - we like St Pete Beach on the Gulf Coast or West Palm Beach on the Atlantic Coast. St Pete Beach is about an hour south of Tampa and theres lots to do in Tampa. And Tampa is about an hour south of Orlando where theres loads to do. Also if you journey further north you'll reach Daytona, the beach is lovely and theres Kennedy Space Centre and other tourist-y things! We're spending 6 days of our own HM in Disney World (where we got engaged) and then 4 days on the Gulf Coast - there's some FAB beaches there! Wanna to go back to Anna Maria Island in particular - its sooooo pretty!!

Thats where we are planning to go on our honeymoon too.
It sounds amazing and loads to do or relaxing hotels and spas for the lazy days.
Cant wait!!!!

hi ya .. we got engaged in key west (very end of florida keys) so ive a soft spot for the place, but i really did love it there. the water is see though blue - i had never seen anything like it in my life .. FAB! We are beachy people but its a touristy spot so im sure there is lots to do. We did the tram tour and it was really good. We were in miami too and i liked that too but not as much as key west hope you enjoy it
