wedding entertainment

hi all, i am getting married in september 2013 and am trying to get as much planned now as possible. i am having difficulty finding entertainment for between the meal and the band. i don't want to get irish dancers as a lot of family members have had them already. i would like something fun and different. i was thinking about a casino but would this be expensive and too short a time space to do it? any ideas will be gratefully recieved

Hi,try events.ie. I was a party a few weeks ago and they hired out casino tables and croupier for the night,think it was about 600 euro for 5 hours,but they had a bull out the back too,so might work out cheaper for the casino.

We're having Carl Pocus, he's a magican and will be entertaining the guests after dinner while the band is setting up. He'll be going from table to table doing tricks!

Roughly how much does a magician cost for an hour or so???? Sorry to hi-jack the thread . Am also looking at having music/fun band play during the drinks reception part, was looking at Tropical Storm but they play for three hours and their set up isn't really what I wanted.... Am waiting on others to get back to me > Cuban AllStars and also 4-in-a-bar (Barbershop Quartet)
