Final Touch Wedding Ban

Postby aishryan » Mon Nov 14, 2011 4:47 pm

Hi ladies! Really need some help here! We're thinking of getting Final Touch as our wedding band. we went to see them at a wedding there last weekend but we were trying to be discreet as it was someone else wedding and so we only saw about a half hour of them during which they mostly played 80s music and didn't seem to interact with the crowd much. Can someone tell me if they do enough waltzes etc for the oldies and if they do a bit of interaction with the crowd? Would help seal the deal before we book with them!! Haven't really looked at any other bands, would it be a good idea to do that rather than booking the first we've seen?

Hi AishRyan,

While I don't know that band in particular, I can probably help a bit as I'm a wedding entertainer myself. If you only got to see a short sample of the night's music, I wouldn't pay much attention to the style that was favoured, as they probably go through a variety of styles over the course of the night, like the rest of us.
Maybe they have a showcase or some public gig that you could attend to see more variety? I would recommend seeing a few bands, just so you can gauge the differences between them, see what suits you best and then you could decide if they're exactly what you're after.

Hope this helps!

Best of luck,
Jonathan

Unfortunately I can't help you with information about that band, but I definitely recommend that you see a handful of bands. I was trying to arrange a band for my wedding from England and it's incredibly difficult to do it without seeing them in the environment. Luckily I got to see a few when I was home for a week and decided between the ones I got to see. It really makes a difference seeing bands. Good luck choosing
