I suppose it's up to every supplier to post as little or as much as they want. Heck they are paying members who pay Claire's wages and the other support staff needed to make mrs2be run so smoothly for all us missies.

Well, while I see what you guys are saying about paying suppliers paying the wages, if any one supplier posts too much, people stop reading, or even eventually disregard the forum altogether, which kind of defeats the purpose.

The guys at designer weddings are hard-working, top class suppliers and wouldn't deliberately annoy you guys.

I've never been annoyed by suppliers posting. Always found it to be really useful and always helpful to read what suppliers-who might I add, most have been working in the wedding industry a lot longer than most brides spend being consumers of the industry- have to say about different topics and what advice they have to give.

I have to say the suppliers are great - so helpful, so friendly and always ready with advice!!

Even if its not their area of "expertise" and even if going with another supplier they are great!!

I can honestly say neither the girls nor the suppliers have ever steered me wrong

It must just be me then - i find it overbearing and would prefer to see a range of different posts/offers. But when i open this forum and see 6 or 7 posts from the one supplier I get turned off. I also wonder does a load of posts from one supplier stop other suppliers in that area from posting their special offers? But then everyone to their own.

If they were reporting the same offer multiple times, that would be in my opinion blocking the other suppliers posts. But I think it's ok as long as it is different material. I dont mind myself because this is the section for vendors, it's what I expect in this area.

As suppliers, we are only allowed to post topics in Vendors and Suppliers.... we can reply to posts in other areas, but only if they are relevant to our area. I have to say, I find that most Missies love to get some help with flowers, and if I can help at all, I do. I'd hope no one finds that OTT...... we all pay to advertise here, and when there are special offers, we post them up.

I have to say that I dont think this forum is very unfair on designer weddings, there here to help the misses and like everyone else says they give us specials are we grateful. so keep up the good work designer weddings

Registered Suppliers are free to post in the Vendors & Suppliers sub-forum - that's what it's here for. They do not create new posts in other sub-forums, but can reply to threads in other sections.

Some suppliers may post more regularly than others, just like brides - that's the nature of discussion forums.

By entering the Vendors & Suppliers sub-forum you will see posts by suppliers detailing special offers, discounts and competitions.
