Hi guys...
Anyone have a rough idea how much a photographer should cost for the wedding day? Is €2000 alot?

I paid €2000 but that was for the photographer, the album and the videographer. €800 of that went toward the videographer.

That's for the fella I went with anyway. There are loads of different choices - some more expensive, some cheaper. Whatever budget you have, you will find something to suit it.

Our photographer is costing €1000. He is brilliant and so nice. Gary Barrett is his name and hes a a supplier on this. Thats for cd package. We'll be getting the album and all after honeymoon which is another €400.

Ours is costing us €1,800 which includes printable CD, big album for us and albums for both sets of parents plus a few other bits n bobs

We pushed the boat out on this one and went with Liam kidney photography. We paid 2995 for his top package. Which yes was a lot. But I'm totally and utterly happy with the service he gave us last week , going over and beyond the call of duty.
At the end of the day you could pay anything from 500 to over 3 grand for a photographer. Don't let money be the sole factor in your decision (easier said than done I know) choose a photographer who's style you like and who will make you feel at ease. It really helps on the day to be comfy with them. You are going to spend nearly more time with the photographer than you will your family and friends.

I went for a CD only package from a supplier on here and it is €600 until 10pm.

We went for the cd only package too but we get to keep all the pics from the day on the cd and they will all be touched up or whatever they do to make them nice. We also get a dvd slideshow for ourselves and one for the parents included. €650...cant go wrong.

Our photographer was €795 for storybook album and cd package.. I was delighted with my pics and the service!!

Mine is costing €800 for the day, with this we are getting 2 pro photographers for the day an A3 stretched canvas which will be presented to us at the meal and all the images on a c.d dat we can print ourselves. If we go 4 a package after the wedding the 800 will be deducted of the package price .Photographer is also setting up a studio after the meals so families can avail of potraits if the wish.
