Is anyone sending out separate afters invites? I'm getting my invitations off the internet and they dont have invites for the afters. Plus i'm only having 110 guests but about 200extra people at the afters and too be honest i dont want to pay for over 200 more invitations. Any advice? Whats the etiquette for it? I'm so confused!

I think I will get some but for my work crowd or something I might just send a mail that they are welcome to come to afters. Not sure yet

im only having bout 30 extra ppl to eveing. Ill get invites for them. Not sure what the etiquette for them is. Maybe if you dont want the expense of extra invites - perhaps send the evening ppl a scroll invite and as EJ09 says maybe a wee email to work ppl. Was in The Bookstation earlier and they have boxes of wedding invitations. They r a single card, nice cream card. There 20 in a box and u can get 3 boxes for €10 i think. Didnt have a great look at them but something like this might help.. Dont know if this helps

I dont know what the etiquette for them is, but anytime we've been invited to an afters of a wedding we've been posted an invite. We are having 120-150 people to our afters and will be sending them invites.

I sent afters invites for mine. Can't think of any other way that you'd let 200 people know they're invited otherwise. As was suggested above, you don't have to get after invites that match your day invitations (sure the evening guests wouldn't know if they matched or not) so you could just buy box sets of cheaper invites.

even Hallmark i think do boxes of evenin invites at a reasonable enough cost. As babs78 said they wouldnt know what the day invite was like. have to say I thought the ones i saw in The Bookstation were nice and simple. Must have a peep the nxt day im in and take a wee pic for u on my phone so u can get an idea of wat they r like.

they have some nice one's in the two euro shop, they aren personalized but 15 for 2 euro ya cant complain..

h2b and i are gonna put a note up in the notice bored at work saying all welcome to afters.....and oly having a few cuz for th afters and i wanna send them an invite - not sure if they will be the sme or not but i dont really mnd if they are not
