Have you tried Trident Holiday Homes ?
They have about 5 houses on the grounds of the Druids Glen.
They are located about a 10 min walk from the Hotel & are located right at the very back of the resort.
Worth a look - and dnont forget to BARGAIN. I book trident homes on a regular basis for sports clubs & usually get 20% off as a miniumum

Did you negotiate with Nessa about the gym membership etc or are you taking all those?

Re: Alternative accomodation near Druids Glen for Groups
I've only just sent out the invites, so not sure what the uptake on accom in the Hotel will be yet, but I'd imagine that most will stay in hotel.
The two points that we negotiated on, was the cost of BnB for guests & the cost of a Fish Option for the main course of the meal. We didnt bother with negotiating on the other bits as felt we got an excellant deal on the above two points. I dont think we'll get a chance to use the Gym & have offered the rounds of golf to my uncles instead.
The BnB & Fish option cost were our two sticking points as we would like as many people as possible to stay over with us and see us off in the morning. We felt it was also important to offer a fish option as in the previous Family weddings it was 50:50 for the uptake on the meat or fish option for the meal.
I had shopped around a good bit for Venues and definiately felt that the Glen View was a little more expensive than others but for us this is our dream venue and you get a great bang for your buck. Its the only part of the wedding where we splashed out. Everthing else was cut out, cut back, DIY or get friends to help out.
Enjoy the preperations.
Good luck
