I have booked the band rewind. they will meet any budget. they also include a dj which is very handy and another thing off the to do list.

Thanks. As I live in London and am trying to organise everything from over here, I was thinking of going only for a DJ as it's so hard to get over and try and see these bands in action. I'm wondering if a DJ will give the same atmosphere as a live band though :?

`@Louise25

"I'm wondering if a DJ will give the same atmosphere as a live band"

Recent email from couple.

"Paul, just to say thank you so much once again. You are a fantastic DJ, really got the crowd moving. Also, great personality, you didn't just sit there and play... ta a lot."

It's nice when people send these emails out of the blue ..

Yeah totally agree :iagree We were at a wedding recently and it was just a DJ. He was so good you wouldnt have even noticed there was no band there. I wasnt off the dance floor all night :muscial

Any good DJ knows what to get the crowd going so its personal (financial) preference whether you want a band or not :highfive

We had a DJ only do it unless it was westlife / boyzone I wouldn't have much of an interest in bands!!
I much preferred the DJ only thing and no offence to anyone in a band or having a band!
We went with what we wanted :P

Personally I'd have both but it seems that DJ's work well on their own according to some Missies here on this tread and would definitely bring the costs down considerably. We're having Springbreak and our friend is doing DJ after as a wedding present so we're cutting a bit of the costs on DJ.
