I'm just wondering if anyone has had a small wedding where theres been about 50 people and what way did they do it, my htb and i just got engaged about 6 weeks ago and i was looking into to different hotels and so but now i am in too minds whether i want the whole big wedding thing most of the hotels i have looked at want a min of 150 people, i have never been a wedding type of girl although i do want the white dress and my daddy to walk me down the ailse lol
if anyone has any suggestions for a small wedding and where they had it i would be very grateful

im getting married in a few days and im only having 50 adults and 9 kids there. Originally there was meant to be about 75 but some people declined and others dropped out. Regardless of the number of people that attend the 2 most important people will be there. im having a civil ceremony with meal in hotel and all the trimmings and then an evening party with dj in the evening where guests probably total between 80-100

I am also having a small wedding of about 40 people. I used to think I always wanted a big wedding, but when it came down to it, it just didn't make sense to me to spend thousands of dollars on a single day. If it were up to me, I would have a civil ceremony with my immediate family and 4 or 5 friends and just go for a nice dinner afterwards! Unfortunately, my parents were not too happy with that idea and so we're having a wedding with 40 guests with the ceremony being held at a church. There will probably be an extra 20 people at the afters.
We're having our reception at the Schoolhouse Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin -lovely venue, fits about 65-70 people.

i must do up an email with everything i want and email a few hotels and see what they say to me thanks soulmate for that idea i just dont like the idea of inviting people to my special day that i don't really know or that we have to for our parents sake
