Postby Aingeal Ban » Fri Nov 11, 2011 11:17 am

Hi Everyone, does anyone know of a place you can rent Bridesmaids Dresses? There are lots of formal suit hire for the guys :brideandgroom1 but the bridesmaids dress hire seems to be nowhere on the market....? maybe this could be a great business idea for someone! :grouphug1

Mariannes bridal in Wexford town hire bm dresses I think they are 120each ? I bought my wedding dress from here and they are fantastic to deal with :) I was also going to rent the dresses for the girls from here but was worrying about spillage on dresses, something being torn etc. I have since bought the dresses for 100euro each which I am delighted about :) HTH x

Definitely a brilliant business - how many of us have bridesmaid dresses lurking at the back of the wardrobe!!
They are expensive and largely don't get worn again......

€120 seems very steep for rental = plus the worry of spillage.

I thought it was a bit much aswell plus I would spend the night worrying about something happening to them. Have bought my bm dresses and they worked out at 100 per dress. However the shop where I bought them have dresses starting from 75

Rental is extremely pricey because they cover themselves for spilage, damage etc....it would be great if you knew somebody who could run you up some on a sewing machine....my mother is doing mine and its costing E200 for 4 dresses, thats material, zips etc.
Watch out for the sales in Jan as my friend got 2 dresses in Debenhams for E100 total
