Hi there,

Everyone seems to have a different opinion about this that I have talked to, I was talking to a girl who is getting married this september that I know and she said that she was told that she is meant to get buttonholes for all the men in the immediate extended family, e.g. sisters hubbys, etc. The girl I was talking to is getting 22 buttonholes.

Personally, I think that button holes are for, the groom, groomsmen and the fathers and then cusades (excuse the spelling) for the mothers of the bride and groom and if you want for the bridesmaids, but I will just be getting them for the mothers. Some people include the brother and sisters of the family but I personally think its too much, the bridal party and parents and of course grandparents if they are still alive.

Just my thoughts on the matter, hope it helps, x

I'm getting button holes for the groomsmen and our dads. Getting crosages(sp?)for the mothers and my nana. The lady in the florist told me that you don't usually get them for anyone else unless you really want to.I think it's a matter of whatever you want yourself.
