Postby sam-4-bob » Sat Nov 26, 2011 12:54 pm

:D Hey , well as the title says I need your help!!

Im at the stage of planning now where Im about to buy my veil and possibly something else to go in my hair. The only problem is the price of veils etc in bridal shops!! I tried on veil with my dress which was gorgeous, it was a two teir catherdral lenght ivory veil but it cost 300euro!! There is no way Im going to spend that much money on my veil! Just wondering if any of you had experience with buying these items online and what websites etc would you recommend. Thanks :hug3

Ebay hun! I am getting lots of bits on it and the dressmaker I work for gets loads off there when her clients ask. I've seen a few and they are good quality

I got a Tiara on ebay from a shop in china (mini-stars) Check it out, loads of hair accessories there. Tiara is every bit as good as what i was lookin at in bridal shops for €180. Got it on ebay for €13. Was a bit weary when ordering but figured at €13 it could do my niece for playin if wasnt good enough for wedding. DELIGHTED with it! Brand new & Absolutely perfect!! €13 :highfive thinkin now i'll order another piece and get rid of tiara for the evening. def have a look around on ebay!

I got my veil from theweddingveilshop.co.uk

It was £60 sterling including delivery to my aunt in Northern Ireland, would be a bit more for delivery down south. That's for a 126 inch/chapel length veil. The quality seems good, the website was easy to use and they have a good selection. Plus, no hassle with customs as its coming from within the EU.

Hiya,

Definitely try etsy.com. They have some fabulous stuff on the site - I got my birdcage veil here. I think it was €120 including postage.
