Hiya, I'm hoping girls from Cork or people who know Cork well can help me here.
For my hen we were thinking of booking into a salon that does hair and beauty in the one place - somewhere my hens can get their hair/makeup/nails...whatever done for our night out. I know places like that exist elsewhere but I don't know Cork well.

While ye're thinking about that what about a good restaurant/cocktail bar (maybe even somewhere that does cocktail classes, although we're thinking of doing that ourselves on the Fri night in our PJs). Really any help ye can offer would be greatly appreciated. xx

Hiya, you could try the Hair and Beauty Corner, they're about 5 mins walk from the Grand Parade so not hard to get to and I know they do combo deals fo hair/nails/makeup. They don't have a website but do have a Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/hairandbeautycorner. They have deals on Grabone as well at the moment so might be worth a look - I've used it before, really good value. I'm not a big cocktail drinker but I know Soho on the Grand Parade do them and so do the Long Island. You could try the Cornstore and the Boardwalk as well. They do food too! Hope thats some help.

Picasso's house of colour is another place that do hair/make up under the one roof...they are also on facebook. Pretty central, on Liberty Street. Phone number: (021)4270990
They always seem to have special offers on.
SOHO is a great suggestion for cocktails food....not far from there is the cornstore restaurant. Good spot for some food and there's a nightclub right next door so not too far to walk in those heels
It would be one of the more popular night clubs...decent crowd, not too young and not too old!
Havent been there in a while though so I'm not sure what type pf music they play...altho i think they have a couple of different areas (could be wrong tho!)
Cant think of anywhere that does cocktail classes but The Long Island is the most popular cocktail bar in the city

Thanks a million Biscuit Tin I def have to try Soho now after all the recommendations. Will look up both beauty places coz I think everyone likes to get something done. Let's hope they take groups!!
