Church music ideas...help.

hi mags 2012
im prob not going to be much help to ya as were just having traditional instumental music with 2 songs ...but if you any old mass books you can compare them ( im a freak i keep all wedding mass booklets )but u can see what they have .. also it depends on the priest if he allows "certain" music or not ... best of luck :fingerscrossed :brideandgroom1

we had a tenor singing in the church and this is what we had - some of the songs are Christmassy cuz we got married in December

Processional : Nella Fantasia.

Outside Candles : Nella Fantasia.

Psalm : O come all ye Faithful.

Middle Candle : Nella Fantasia.

Offertory : Ave Maria by Schubert.

Our Father : Ar nAthair.

Communion : Panis Angelicus.
O Holy Night.

Register : Come what may
Hallelujah.


Recessional : The World in Union.

We had the below, our date was the 28th december hence the Christmas Carol

Processional: Songbird (Eva Cassidy)

Lighting the Candles: Glasgow Love Theme Instrumental (Love Actually)

Responsorial Psalm: You are mine

Offertory Procession: Ave Maria

Communion: Oh Holy Night
The Prayer (Andrea Bocelli)

Signing the Register: Heaven (Bryan Adams)

Leaving the church: The Greatest Day (Take That)
