Did anyone get a good deal on a videographer?

I have decided last minute to get a videographer, just for house in morning and church. I am really tight on budget and was just wondering if anyone got a good deal and if so how much?

I have full day with Matt Ryan. He works for sky, rte, channel 4 etc and i love his style.
That's 950....
Don't know if he does house only but check him out.

I'm paying €699 with dawn til dusk videography. That's for the whole day from house til 10.30pm. He does do house/church packages but not sure how much.

I think you will be hard pushed to find someone under 600. I decided that i couldnt afford it but hired a video camera and tripod for my brother and he will video everything on the day and then we will get it professionally edited with music - it will work out about 150. Maybe that could be an option - depends how much you think you will watch it! I'm quite happy to have a home movie!!

I got a DVD done and I can't wait to see it.
My brother studied TV and video in college and qualified a couple of years ago so we got one of his classmates to do all the videography on the day (brother was a GM) and my brother is now doing the editing as part of our gift. I know you just want house & church, but it would be nice to have the speeches too - I know that hubby can't really remember what he said during his or he can't remember what I said either, so he's looking forward to seeing those.

OMG, I'm paying 1100 for my videographer.....is that too much :yikes2

1100 was what I had been quoted for a full day up to 11pm... but then in Killarney everyone gets ripped off!

Check out d-digital. they have some good packages €600-700

I suppose you do get what you pay for & I've budgeted a lot for the photos & video cos that's really all your left with after the day! Just got a shock when I saw 700 for the whole day!!
