Aaaaahhhhh missy don't know what I'm going to do 3 months ago one of my bridesmaid told me shes pregnant and she is due the week of my wedding I'm delighted for her as I had 6 months to get another bridesmaid I didn't mind so I asked my sil and I only found out yesterday that she's pregnant and is not going to tell me for another 3 weeks which is only leaving me 2 and a half months to the big day I don't know who I can ask and my heads wrecked Im really happy for her as it's another member to the family but just don't know what I'm going to do

I don't see why your SIL can't still be your BM... If she's not telling people yet she might not be too far gone. Fair enough her dress would have to be altered fairly close to the day to allow for her expanding bump. Other than that I don't see why you would be asking somebody else.

My friends BM was six months pregnant at her wedding.

If she isnt going to tell you for another 3 weeks, I doubt she is very far along, she can still be your bm, you may just accomodate for her bump

She's going to be 6 months at the wedding and there isnt much room for the dress to be let out I'm not meant to know yet someone let slip to me about it I just hope like u girls said that she would still be able to do it cause there is no1 else I would want to do it sorry for the rant girls

Thats ridiculous that she would consider backing out... Im 6 months pregnant and Id love to be involved in a wedding!! Maybe whoever told you is assumeing she wont be interested in doing it but shes prob really looking forward to it... dont worry about the dress, dresses can be altered, she can get a piece put in it, but dont do that til the last minute.

My friends sister who was bm for her had her baby a week afer the wedding!! she was fine at the wedding, she wore flat shoes and was grand all day, so dont worry.

I'm in the same boat, Nov2011 - my SIL is pregnant (gonna be an auntie for the first time), and I've already her dress ordered. Had a chat with the lady who's doing our alterations and she says because of the size of the dress we may be lucky (dresses haven't arrived yet).

Gonna order an extra yard of the dress fabric just in case.

How long is a piece of string? Six month bumps can vary so can't really say. I was big enough at six months but my sister was smaller.

Yeah was gonna say that my other friend is 6 months now and she couldn't fit into the dress so I'll never know
