Dress shopping!!!!!

Hey Girls.

just joined and love this site already!!! you are all so helpful!!! spent all day just looking around!!! Only starting to plan wedding over the next couple of months for September 2013 after being engaged for 3 years. Tried on first dress a little while ago. Was so much fun but did anyone else get that "oh my good bejebus!

" feeling the first time you tried on a dress??!!

Hi Mrs. Kenny and welcome.

God yeah found the whole thing a bit surreal to be honest. After the third shop though I settled into it and once relaxed found thee dress!! Flying now and ordering my dress has made it seem all that more real and has completely changed what kind of wedding colours I want. It's mad I really didn't think the dress was going to be so important but it turned out I was wrong (wouldn't be the first time :dizzy

Ha I remember going into the first shop and looking at myself in the mirror, I couldnt help but laugh!! I thought it was so weird that I was actually wearing a wedding dress, my sister was in stitches laughing at me, but I couldn't help it, I just felt so odd....but in fairness we did only go into the shop for a look we didn't actually plan it. The next time however it was all very different, I found the dress of my dreams and just fell in love, I got so excited by it and didn't want to take it off!

So I guess I can relate to you :-)

I'm sure you'll be just fine it's just the enitial 'holy moly I'm getting married' shock phase ;-)

I ordered my dress on Saturday, I tried it on and just got butterflies and really emotional , plus my mam and sister cried , I think you just know when its THE One

Hahah! thanks girls!!! was like is this the way am supposed to feel!!! Couldnt stop laughing either!!! My mam was just with me and it was just try it on for the laugh thing! but yeah it was very oh holy god im getting married!!! Mam had tears in her eyes alright and I was just there laughing!!

Aw congrats on ordering you dress Sam4bob!!! cant wait to actual get "the one"! So excited about that and the rings!!!
