Flower Girl Dresses Online?

Postby Haribo » Thu Sep 01, 2011 1:20 pm

Hi Girls,

Just wondering if anyone ordered their FG dresses online and if so would they recommend them?
My daughter will be 3 and I'd love to get her a real princessy type dress for reasonable amt, debenhams are looking for about 70eur which I think is a bit mad considering she will prob only wear it for a few hours :D

Thanks

Hi Harbio,

Just read another post that said Exit in Mullingar have flower girl dresses for 12 euro. I am sure the other exit stores around have them also!!! I think the going price for them is seventy euro! I went wedding dress shoppin one day and the owner of the shop decided to surprise us by dressing up my niece in a flower girl dress the dress was 240 euro. Needless to say I did buy that one! Did you try any of the charity shops?? there are some of the them that have brand new ones at reasonable prices. M&S have some really pretty ones too!!

Hi Purplebell,

Never thought of charity shops will check them out i've plenty of time yet

Cheers!! ;)

I got 2 flower girl dresses in Guineys in Dublin for €45 each and they are very princessy ;)

Also I had originally bought another dress off eBay that was €12 and that was a dress from Next.

Hi Haribo that was me who had the post about flower girl dresses in Mullingar. I'm not sure how many are left and I'd go down and check for you tomorrow only I'm working through my lunch and I have a hen on Saturday. If you want I can have a look next week or you could always give them a call to see if there are any left.

Below is the link for the previous post and there's a picture of it. It looks a bit short in that picture but it's not, it's about calf lenght. I'm going to add a sash around the middle, the same colour as the bridesmaids dresses.

My daughter and flowerdirl will be 2 and a half when I get married and I bought her a beautiful dress for €34euro on littlewoods.I am goingto add a collar and waist ribbon to it so total cost will be less than€50. I might even get another one seems it such great value in case she messes herself as she is a mucky little monkey and attracts dirt but at that price sure you cant complain.Mothercare have nice ones in at the min too but I think they are about €60.
Here is the link to the littlewoods one!
