Quick question - what flowers are in season around the end of June?

Thanks deb2010 - just curious as to what flowers grow naturally in Ireland in June I suppose. Maybe that is all flowers - I'm a bit clueless!

you can get any flowers you want but be carefully as you may be charged more for some flowers (out of seasons ones) as your florist but I'm getting married in june and had no problem with flowers

brilliant - that list was the kind of thing I was looking for. I think it would be nice to have flowers that are appropriate for the season of the wedding. For example I'm sure you can get sunflowers in December, but if I was getting married then I don't think they would be the appropriate ones to use.

Popular flowers like roses, gerbera and lillies are available year round. In June, popular in season wedding blooms would include bouvardia, calla lillies and hydrangea. Do bear in mind though, that even in season, flowers like hydrangea are cheaper than when not plentifully available, but they are still not cheap! If you have pictures of bouquets you like, and you want to send them to me, I'll let you know if the flowers are in season in June or not.

you could ask a wedding planner so you can be sure you`re not going to take a wrong decision :)
