Hi Ladies!!

I need help!

Engaged since Aug and finally got h2b to sit and talk about wedding last night.
We have decided that it probably won't be til 2014 but I would like to try and start planning now and sorting a budget.
We more or less have decided on a venue, and ceremony will be there also, and I have my flowers sorted, but after that I haven't a clue
Could any of you give me some advice on cars, photographers, videographers, bands and anything else that goes with it please???
It's second time round for both of us and I'm very out of touch with everything now...

There's the one stop wedding shop based in Ballincollig and Cork Weddings and Balloons provide all sorts of accessories for the venue and church. Both can be found on facebook also.A good place to have a look at is the Missies Wedding reports as they will have their suppliers down the end and if they were any good. Theres the Southern Brides wedding Fayre on this weekend in the Silversprings Moran hotel, might be worth a look and might get soem bargains

ya i'm heading to that hotel this weekend for the wedding fair. has lined up perfect for us as we are putting our deposit on the hotel on the sat down home which is only an hour away, so going to check it out on the sun. hope to get a good bit of help out of it as the last one i went though wasn't too useful.

cork weddings and balloons are doing my flower also, very lovely lady to deal with. We went to the wedding fayre in Silversprings too and got talking to the guys with the wedding cars and he gave us a price for the masarrati(bad spelling sorry) as 525 if booked in January, I always wanted a vintage car but we will be travelling from Cork City to Bantry and are afraid that we could get stranded if anything happened to the car. We are currently looking into hiring a luxury car for the weekend and using that instead and having a friend drive it for the wedding day.... We have the band sorted, the boogie band, think they are quiet good personally, my advice with the band is to see them play at a wedding and also in a pub as they can change the music list to suit the bride and groom. Shop around for everything and the best of luck

The price is nuts, it was a Waterford based company that gave us the price, and do you know something we both agreed it looked nothing special compared to most cars, it would have been just to say we are having the masserati....
