Hope we are all having fun planning

Loving the new site btw.. Havent been on in ages been so sick the past few weeks I feel so out of touch.. I havent done anything wedding wise and now im starting to panic need your help super missies lol!!! At this stage I dont know what I need to have done I have all the main things done like booked all the main things I still cant decide on our guest list we are having a small wedding but now I like want to invite a few more.. People I never expected to make an effort for me really did nd now im like ah i should have invited them but our budget is gone way over as it is.. The stress

Welcome back Hope you are feeling better Have you got all your accesories , shoes etc? Ceremony music/prayers sorted ?? Our guest list is just like that, at least once a week we think of somebody and go "how can we not invite ......?". Its a nightmare, but ive just stuck my foot down and said no more !!!!! Stress is right!!!!!

and welcome back and hope you have recovered. We too are having a small wedding both for budget reasons and also cause that is just what we want something nice and intimate we have kept our list to immediate family and close friends. I with Sam 4 bob as in just have to stick your ground we too had a few occasions where we were like oh maybe we should invite x, y and z as we might ran into them for the first time in ages but brought it back to our core guestliat of who we want to share our day with rather than inviting people just for the sake of it. I read on another post here somewhere - that you can rule out anyone that you haven't had a full blown conversation with in over a year which I thought made sense. I am sorry this prob doesn't help too much but more that you are not alone. Best of luck with your continued planning

good to see your feeling better and on the mend. like everyone else we are having a small wedding too. a friend told me a year or two ago to help keep the list down is that you should only invite people you have only seen in the last year. i don't totally agree with what he said but i do agree with what was said here that you should only invite those who you have had a full blown conversation with.

a weeks ago my mam wanted to invite on of her friends and i just turned to her and said when was the last time you have seen them or even mentioned their name.

now is the time i would think that you can starting getting the small important bits for your day e.g shoes, jewelary etc but maybe also bits for your day that makes it yours. maybe think of what favours you might like or maybe ordering something fun for you and your bridesmaid's t shirts with names or dressing gowns.

hope this helps. have fun and don't worry before you know it you will have everything sorted. i heard you should delegate as much as possible, that might help too.
