Honeymoon booked!!! sooooo excited
Honeymoon booked!!! sooooo excited
I have butterflies in my stomach I'm so excited. Everything just seems to be coming together. It's a bit surreal. We're heading to orlando for a wk, on a cruise and then a few days in fort lauderdale before flying home. We really can't afford it and I know we'll be penniless for a while after but we figured we probably wouldn't get another chance for a holiday like this until our kids are grown. We want to start a family ASAP
I'm just so excited I had to share. I just can't believe i'm getting married and going on honeymoon with my wonderful H2B.

Re: Honeymoon booked!!! sooooo excited
Not a good flyer? Poor you, one of my friends is like that, so nervous every time he flies and he has to fly a lot with work! You'll be so excited hopefully that'll beat the nerves
Bora Bora is 8 and a half hours dfrom LA and LA is about 10 hrs from london so our flights will be the same length as yours but just in 2 legs!
Drink plenty of champagne and you'll be grand

We already have kids so no fancy pants honeymoon for us. We are just looking at going to Italy for 5 days after the wedding and then we'll book a Summer holiday with the kids.

How exciting
We aren't goin on a HM straight away as there will be quite alot of family flying into ireland for the wedding, who'll be around for awhile so can't be rushing straight off flomeo wrote:Booked ours last week too! Very exciting, want to start paying it off quickly too!
Going to California and Bora Bora.
Bora Bora sounds & looks lovely flomeo and is actually on our list of places to go (in general) and consider for a HM destination (can i ask did you source through an agent or book it yourself online? - as long as you don't think this is being cheeky
Enjoy ms-to-mrs am sure it will be fantastic

Re: Honeymoon booked!!! sooooo excited
We went with an american travel agent in the end and booked 8 nights between Moorea and Bora Bora with them. They throw in more in the packages, we normally book all ourselves (I can't bear package holidays) but an agent seems to be the way to go for BB, we'll book the flights to Cali ourselves in the Jan sales hopefully!
You can fly there from Auckland too (its actually way closer to NZ than it is to the US) but we've been to NZ a few times before so doing the California route. New Zealand is my favourite place I've ever been- incorporate that in your HM for sure! Much prefer it to Oz, I'd move there in the morning!
Very excited about Bora Bora now and watched Couples Retreat yesterday, we're staying at the St Regis where that movie was filmed!
