Aw girls these stories are lovely.
Mine is a bit long as well, but was not love at first sight.

About 8 years ago I started 'seeing' this guy, was mad about him, but we were never offically together. Might as well have been though. Anyway, these were the days before everyone had mobile phones. I had one but this guy didn't - he did have my number though. He texted me one night off someones else's phone but I didn't see the text till later that night. I texted back but he wasn't with that person anymore. This other guy was like 'I have your number now, gonna annoy you ha ha' type thing.
The guy that I was seeing turned out to be a jerk and went off with a supposed friend of mine. This other guy had been texting me and I ended up getting friendly with him.
I knew he kinda liked me but I wasn't really looking for anything in the beginning, the other guy had hurt me a lot. We were texting for months and months, nearly every day, and then I finally asked him to my debs. (3 days before it!)
8 years later and we are getting married!
(ps the other guy and girl stayed together for a few years but he treated her like dirt - and he is really annoying - don't know what I saw in him but I definitely ended up better off )

Yeah moyvalleybride and scdp, ye are both right.
If I hadn't of been with other guy and he hadn't had gone off with my friend I never would have ended up with my h2b. It must have been fate
I sometimes shudder to think how things might have turned out.
altought sometimes my h2b probably curses the other guy

They both still hanf around with the same group of friends so I see him from time to time and thank my lucky stars for my h2b

Kia001 my story is kinda the same actually if i expand! I said at the beginning I met H2B cos I was trying to sell my car to the garage he owns, the reason I was selling it is because a few weeks before I had broken up with my ex and he was following me!! I had a silver mini with black stripes and it was when he saw the car he knew it was me and followed it! So easiest thing to do?Get rid of the car!!! If it wasnt for my stalker ex(who had to be sorted by the gaurds in the end) then I wouldnt have met H2B! See you have to kiss all the frogs before you meet the prince!

moyvalley bride i was just going to say those exact words,"you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince," when i read kia001's story!. its kinda true for me too.. i was seeing a guy for a long time but things had gone a bit sour,, we had been breaking up and getting back together, looking back i think it was more for something to do than anything else!!,, so one of the girls was going to America for the summer, and she asked if i wanted to go!.. i jumped at the chance and told my fella at the time i would just be gone for 3 months!, will be good for us to have time apart,, blah blah!!.. so off we headed, started working in a bar!, first night H2b walks in,, and within minutes, im smitten!! fell for him big time!!.. he had moved over from Ireland too!! Never had a feeling like that before, and luckly for me he felt the same!!. we spent the whole summer together i announced i was moving back to America after the summer had have been here with him 3 years thie week!!! if things had been going ok with the other guy in ireland i prob would never have left the country,and never met h2b...Now i cant flippin wait to be his wife!!!

Hi all this is my first post, so i think its nice to start with how I met my other half.

Met each other on the internet!
Hes orignally from Dublin and Im from Laois. We were both living in Waterford at the time though. Text for a few weeks, sent pics and emails. I was afraid to meet up with him because he is a complete and utter gorgeous looking guy, didnt think he would find me attractive

But I bit the bullet and met him, thinking it was going to be the end. But sparks flew. We walked on the beach and went for coffee. It was lovely. We havent really been apart from eachother ever since! Three years on we have bought a house together, have a baby and are deeply in love and cant wait to get married!
