This is a spin on another thread entitled "How long have you been together" I was just commenting on it when I realised there is no thread on how we all met our H2Bs!!!!

To start it off Ill tell you I met mine when I was trying to sell my car to a garage(totally aware I could have been ripped off) and when H2B walked out of the garage to have a look at the car and give me a price I swooned ha ha Knew then that I had to keep it together or else I really would be ripped off!!! haha

Total love at first sight!!

Myself and dh worked together. Had a kiss on a night out and then a few months later had a few more and it all went from there

almost straight away. Our 2 brothers were freinds and then i met H2b. Got on so well. He said he liked me for ages Starting going out a few days after we met. that was 11 and half yrs ago

i frist saw h2b jr cert night and we had our frist kiss. then a yr later my cuz was going out with his friend and we started going out. our frist kiss was 10 years ago this sept and we're going out for 9 in sept.

i wouldnt say love at frist sight for me (of coarse it was for him!!!!! ) but i did think he was vey sexy and very cute.

very different for me and hubbie,definately not love at first sight, i was best friends with his brother, shared a house together etc etc, so me and hubbie had a few "meetings" over the years but generally did not get on at all, in hindsight it was denial
but we eventually got it together and now we're mr and mrs

Me and h2b meet on a night out in our local night club, I was on a girly night out as a break from studying from the L.C. He got on to my best friend about his neighbour that she fancied and she came complaining to me about it. Of course I had a few drinks and was always very protective of her when out and went up to sort him out . Chated with him for the rest of the night and then meet up a week later and things just went from there, was love at first sight for both of us! Defo for me, coz forgot to get eachothers numbers and after a week I got his of his neighbour and text him!!

This is kind of a long story The night i met my h2b i was home from dublin for my friends 30th birthday. One of my friends had a group of lads staying with her as they were there for the World car Rally. She had been telling me there's going to be single lads out - I had no interest in meeting anyone as I had just started seeing someone.

Anyway went to the party and the lads were all there with her. Got chatting to them later in the nightclub and one of them (him!) offered to buy me a drink and I refused - but somehow I kept ending up beside him and talking to him - he kept asking for my phone number and I wouldn't give it to him.

At the end of the night we were all getting a mini bus taxi and he wanted me to go back to my friends place but i wouldn't go.. he moved to sit beside me in the taxi.. when we got to my house i got out of the taxi and turned around to wave bye to him and didn't look where i was going and fell over the kerb and couldn't get up - I heard shouts from the taxi telling him to help me so he and another lad got out and helped me up.. i was so embarrassed I got up and ran into the house and burst out crying - me knees were in bits, and my hands from when i put them out to stop myself..

I was going up to get into bed when i got a text saying are you OK after your fall - it was him - one of my friends had given him my number..

So we kept texting that night and all the next day. The next night i went out to meet my friends and he was in the pub but i didn't get talking to him. We left the pub to go to the nightclub but a lot of the lads didn't go to it. I looked around to see was he still there and he was - he came for me I caught his eye.. In the nightclub there was a seat at the bar and the girls told me to sit down cause my knees were sore and they left me with him - he asked for a kiss for his birthday which had been a few days before - which I gave in and gave him

So not exactly love at first sight - but I fell for him straight away
