Completely get that!!! H2B and I are doing a Youth Retreat together and we just had a meeting about ideas and stuff...

Youth is my thing... my heart beats for Youth kids..... I love them, I love working with them ...they just bring out the best in me....

So we organise a youth retreat every year at our church and this year H2B offered to help me out... Awh, to hear him share my passion and want to make this amazing for them too... I just looked at him and thought..

thanks for posting this. You really have to stop every now and again and realise this.
Everyone is so busy with their lives that you sometmes forget this.
We are always so busy, but when we go on holidays or a weekend away and just the two of us spend time together, we get back that "totally smitten, in love" feeling again.

Sometimes you really need to stop and smell the coffee. I had a weekend like that with my fella too. We had such a shitty time last week with his step daughter etc. We took the time yesterday to reconnect, and be lovely to each other. He even cuddled me to sleep last night, when we normally hug and part ways for our own side of the bed He just sent me a really lovely text as well. It's hard for him realising his ex's daughter turned out to be a using shit bag, but he's got me to help make it better, and we are really appreciating each other.

It is so nice just to get a cuddle for no reason, or a text to say I love you, or a wink from across the room to know that he is thinking of me even if I am not beside him..or when either of us is away and he texts that he misses me..

So glad to know its not just me that is still sickenly in love!!! My h2b still gives me butterflies which i think must be pretty special!! Ive been having frequent moments like cheeky chick mentioned since the start of the new year. I was sharing this with my mum and just telling telling her how overwhelmed i felt being so in love and she suggested i get a little journal and wrote these little thoughts down. Even silly little things and thoughts about your h2b you keep to yourself about how much u love him or how he makes you feel. My mum thought it would be a lovely thing to look back on in years to come. Just thought id share this little idea! xx
