Thats brill that you got your dress, its a great relief to have it and even better to have it home with you!

JJ's house is replica dresses as far as im aware, they are not the actual dresses. Try on loads of dresses and do your research on the net, if your dress is out of budget when you pick it then try and source it online. If you are on a budget keep an eye out for sample sales, you can pick up amazing dresses at a fraction of their price.

Hi All

im new to Mrs2be engaged since august but just joined now.

I went trying on dresses for a look at the weekend to see what suited me and ended up finding one i really loved. it was my first day and im not getting married until next June so obviously not going to buy now. Someone told me six months before so that would leave me ordering around november time (taking into account xmas).

the dress i loved was 2012 collection but im slightly worried it might be discontinued when the 2013 collection come out later in the year, im not saying its the one but i would be disappointed it I didnt have it as an option. it was a class above all the other dresses i tried on.

what do you all think - when is the best time to order the dress. some people say order it whenever you want and others say it shouldnt be hanging in your wardrobe too long either!!

any advice???

just looking at dress myself, yes your advised to order 6-9 months in advance, just been told to tell them your wedding is coming a month or two earlier than it really is, incase there's any delay, not a bad bit of advise, better to have it than be waiting...that's my tupense anyway....also if you've found a dress stop looking, heard of a few who got dresses and ended up getting a second one, also you might be able to get it on sale in the next few months, buti'd talk to the shop, call up and say your someone else, no harm in asking, and shop around you might get it cheaper in other shops...

1st dress I tried on was THE one!! Went looking last May. Had kind of an idea of what I would like but felt so surreal to actually be lookin at wedding dresses for myself... Tried on a few in one shop just to get a feel for them. Went to 2nd shop tried on a few but didnt like any -kept talking about the 1st one all day so went back to it again in the evening. Loved it but still had a year to go to wedding at that stage so didnt want to buy that soon. went back on my own twice during the summer just to see it and make sure I still liked it & ended up loving it more every time.Finally put the deposit down in September and waiting for it to come in any day now! eeeeekkk!!! so excited! Cant wait!

I think I'll go back a few times to make sure. Did you all find it very surreal. I think maybe because the wedding is next year but I nearly felt like I was playing dress up
