Just wondered if anyone has any experience or heard of anyone letting out a wedding dress and how it turned out?
I have my wedding dress since early this year, as i got in on a sample sale, and am not getting married until 2013, so it's always in my mind a little bit if the dress could be let out a bit if it was needed. It's a mermaid style dress with a lace up/corset back, fairly simple, no lace or anything and only a very small bit of beading around the top.
I know this prob sounds like unnecessary panicking, and it prob is as dress fits grand at the minute, but it's just to ease my mind a bit on it!

My dress has a corset back too, and the lady in the shop said if it was too tight, they can move over where corset tie bit a small bit to give maybe a half inch all around. I'm not sure about letting the actual dress out.

Hey awhiletogo, I've had my wedding dress let out two inches, it depends on how much of a seam the dress has inside it if you know what I mean. If you bring it to a dress maker, they will be able to tell you by looking at it! A good dress maker should be able to make any dress fit you! Don't worry, you'll be fab
