Mens Suits

Postby MeathBride » Thu Nov 17, 2011 11:46 pm

Hi girlies,

Right it's two more days until the wedding and I am soooo stressed out. Would you believe the most stressful thing right now is our mens suits. We paid up full for the suits in Protocol Drogheda, we were told 2 weeks ago that the menswear in Drogheda was moving to Navan but there was no panic the guy would still meet us in Drogheda with the suits and would give them to us 4 days before the wedding so everything would be alright. The suits were delivered tonight, less than 2 days before the wedding, and they aren't right. They guy made no apologies for being late and was rude and dimissive. This reflects badly on us because we chose to get the suits there. They told us thats all they could do, one of my groomsmen has had to buy his own shirt now because they wont tailor it and one of the guys has to buy his own trousers because they dont fit, again they wont tailor. This is a disgrace 2 days before the wedding, I'm flippin raging. We paid 115 for each suit. I feel robbed now:(

Oh Jesus I am so sorry to hear you are having to deal with shite like that 2 days before your wedding. FFS how unprofessional are they?!! I certainly wouldn't be letting this go but deal with it after the wedding. For now try to put it behind you and not let it ruin tomorrow for you. Have an absolute brilliant fun filled day xx

Shocking service, but try to ignore it for now and try about getting some money back after your wedding!

This is just unreal! and really not something you want to be dealing with on the eve of your wedding - I agree with above and take it up with them as this is just not professional! It's such a pity this happened so close to the wedding as once you wear them is there any comeback? You'd nearly want to get it rectified before the Big Day but understand this is not possible - then again I am sure a note was made of all sizes etc etc during the fitting or maybe on a receipt which can then be compared to the sizes you actually got and put that forward as your case but like the other missies said...after the wedding..I think now you shouldn't be worrying about this, let it go out of your mind and come back to it afterwards...have a fantastic day and I wish you and your H2B all the best for the future.

:iagree Put it out of your mind for now and focus on the good stuff. You can deal with their rude, unprofessionnal behaviour when the wedding is over! Good luck tomorrow hun and have a truly wonderful, perfect day!!! :smileybride

I agree with the other ladies, don't let it get to you. You have managed to work around it for now and it will all look perfect tomorrow.
You can go mad at them after your big day!!

Best of luck tomorrow!!!!!!!!! :justarried2
