Just wondering if i am on track have church an d priest booked, hotel booked and deposit paid,band and dj booked and deposit paid , photographer and video booked and deposit paid now what to do please help

You are way ahead of me, less than 2 mths to my wedding church music let me down, band not booked. You are fine, you have loads of time
just make sure you arent paying above the odds a lot of people who book early for things get fleeced because as soon as you put wedding in front of something they take advantage! Book pre marriage course if you need one, but if you can be flexible on location it can cost less sometimes a difference of €70 so worth checking it out. Don't get your dress too early because you will stress over your size....you will fluctuate in weight, it doesn't take 7mths to order a dress and everything is negotiable. All the best x

so far i have church booked,
hotel booked,
dress picked but not 100%
invites kinda organised
photographer provisionally booked ( have to pay deposit)
band and dj booked
looking into candles
have car organised
hopefully have cake sorted
bridesmaids dresses picked
shoes kinda picked
candles picked
gona start sorting honeymoon soon

i have nothing really sorted but i know what i want. you could sort the paperwork and pre marraige course, go dress shopping and sort suit hire and bridesmaids dresses. i no im missing loads aswel. oh you can pick rings aswel. and book make up and hair

When we went to the priest to talk about our wedding he recommended to us to aim to get the paperwork (licence etc) sorted before Christmas. I thought that was a good recommendation. I've got 10months to go as well. I've got wedding dress on order, the church and hotel booked in and about to sign up a photographer. Music is my next task. Then there's still loads.

Kaf1807 SNAP we are getting married the same day!!hehe.....

Ok this is what I have done,
church/celebrant/venue/ceremony music all booked
photographer booked
Wedding dress (deposit paid but wont be in till near wedding, thank god as I would prob change my mind )
bridesmaids dresses (picked out not ordered yet)
Band and DJ booked for reception
invites picked just need to get final guest list numbers before ordering
Florist booked but no flowers picked yet as we are not sure yet what we want
Cake is being made by my mam, h2bs mam and my gran so I have a lady booked to decorate it, again not sure yet what kind of decoration to go for here,
Pre-marraige course booked
hair and make up booked, just will be going for trials before giving deposits
Guest book (its like a triket box from etsy)
brooches bought and sought out for brooch boquet, also one or two gifts for bridal party!!

Whoop, the time is just flying, in fairness though we have been engaged a year so we have had loads of time to get stuff sorted with no pressure, you have plenty done hun!!

Harv2010, you've done so much already! wow! I've about done the same as Kaf except I have my florist booked but not the band yet. I've loads of other bits in the works (dress shopping, favours decided but not purchased, etc.) Sooo exciting to get everything done!

Hey Am getting married in October 2012, so far we have

*Church Booked
*Have permission for wedding photos at a local spot
*Have the car sorted
*Cake is ordered
*Lady is booked to do our invites- she is just waiting on a colour scheme
*Flowers are booked
*Hotel is booked
*Band/DJ booked
*Photographer booked
*Videographer booked.

This week Im looking at ordering the wedding candles/guest book and booking the marriage course.

Am starting bridesmaid dress shopping the end of this month when my sister is home.

My god this is such an exciting time!!!!!

Jeepers I just copped on we have the car booked and deposit paid on it too!!hehe.....oh brill the day before! Exciting! I suppose when I look at the list it does seem we have a good bit done but to be honest it all fell into place (after HOURS of researching online,hehe..). I don't feel we have spent a lot of time planning but sure its great to have that much done anyways. Girls we are all flying, aren't the tickers getting so close?! I notice if I am not online for a few days the ticker seems to get so much lower!! Happy days girlies !

Relaxed alot now thinking i might be quite organised meant to say , a lady is designing my wedding invites for me so she getting back to soon wit tat to c if i like and also THINK i found my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses and think i will get a few hair trials done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited now and calmer thank god for Mrs2be.ie its the best for reassurance and understanding
